Practicum Script Course of Pediatrics Primary Care

International course, for Spain and Latin America, aimed at primary care pediatricians and family and community medicine specialists and general practitioners dedicated to child care in community centers and health clinics. It consists of 20 real clinical cases of pediatric patients with pathologies of great interest and prevalence in the field of primary care, such as obesity and other nutritional disorders, pubertal disorders, growth and neurodevelopmental disorders, recurrent respiratory symptoms, arterial hypertension in adolescence, etc. The course methodology is based on diagnostic or management decision making in a total of 100 controversial scenarios.

Requirements for enrollment

Be a specialist or advanced resident of Pediatrics or Family and Community Medicine. It is also aimed at general practitioners who are dedicated to pediatric care.

Requirements approval

For the approval of the course Practicum Script of Pediatrics and obtaining the corresponding certificate of curricular value will have to meet the following two requirements:

  • Having responded to at least 80% of the clinical cases included in the course.
  • Obtain a final grade average higher than 60%. This qualification will be based on the cumulative percentage of valid answers (matching with experts) in the exercise of hypotheses and clinical decisions. 

During your experience with the Practicum Script simulator you will have to make decisions in clinical cases corresponding to the following topics:
